Coming off of a big win at Kokomo at the end of August, the team was ready to get back in the saddle for a weekend of racing in Southern Indiana. With Sunshine currently 3rd in USAC Sprint points, everyone on the team is feeling the pressure as each race counts more than ever. Terre Haute Action Track was in great shape for racing on Friday night. Qualifying went okay, with Tyler finishing 17th out of 26 cars. After finishing 2nd in heat 2, Sunshine and the team transferred to the A-main Feature with a 16th place starting position. With adrenaline pumping and track conditions looking good, Sunshine didn't sit in the 16th place position long. He strategically worked his way toward the front, benefitting from a few restarts, and landed a podium finsh at the end of the race in 3rd place.
