Indiana Sprint Week brought some ups and downs for the team... and a TON of rain! With a few rain outs and reschedules, the week finally wrapped up on Sunday, July 16 at Lincoln Park Speedway in Putnamville, which was rescheduled from July 13 after rain ruined that night of racing. Sunshine ended up placing 3rd in Sprint Week points and the team is thrilled to have finished the way we did.
July 8 - Kokomo Speedway: Qualified 8th, 4th in Heat Race, finished 4th in Feature
July 9 - Lawrenceburg Speedway: Qualified 17th, 2nd in Heat Race, finished 12th in Feature
July 10 - Gas City I-69 Speedway (rescheduled from rain out on July 7): Qualified 19th, 6th in Heat Race, 4th in Semi, finished 11th in Feature, Sunshine also earned Hard Charger Award (18th to 11th)
July 12 - Terre Haute Action Track (cancelled due to rain)
July 14 - Bloomington Speedway: Qualified 15th, 3rd in Heat Race, finished 8th in Feature
July 15 - Tri-State Speedway: Qualified 9th, 4th in Heat Race, finished 3rd in Feature
July 16 - Lincoln Park Speedway (rescheduled from July 13 rain out): Qualified 5th, 4th in Heat Race, finished 2nd in Feature
Tyler now sits at 5th in AMSOIL National Sprint Points.
