Tyler Courtney was ready to get back in the 23c non-wing sprint after a series of cancellations and postponed races, lately. Kokomo Speedway was ready for racing on Memorial Day, after the first annual Bryan Clauson's "Indiana Double" race was moved from Sunday evening to Monday, due to rain. WIth Clauson being such a close friend of Tyler, the race had more meaning than the average race, and he was determined to make it to the front. After a great round of qualifying, Tyler finished 2nd in his heat race with a direct transfer to the Feature. He started in the front row of the Feature and raced hard the entire race to keep that position, with his eye on a first place prize. Unfortunatley, he wasn't able to get in front of Dave Darland for the victory, but Sunshine and the team walked away with a great 2nd place finish for the evening!
Next up: I-80 Speedway in Greenwood, Nebraska on June 2nd!
